Player Cards

As an Independent American I find it truly sad in this day and age how the patriotic card is played. Think to yourself for a minute? What really is the difference between playing for instance the race card or the gender card? How can a country be a nation when a party that’s within a nation play’s a false patriotic card causing division, bring to question ones loyalty to this great nation? Those who love this country shouldn’t have to express ones loyalty by wearing a flag pin or sharing a different view on foreign policy because certain news pundits spin facts to suit there own personal opinions like Fox News Sean Hannity. Do you honestly believe that if America was attack that some how Democrats would not bear arms? In fact wouldn't it be unpatriotic to assume that a party such as The Democratic Party is some how un-American because they provide a balance within a two party system. Republican attack and spin tactics promoting fear in order to start and maintain a war that shouldn’t been fought based on intelligent that was flawed at best, while gas and food prices continue to skyrocket and families in America become more in debt because of a greedy unregulated loan system. Wouldn’t you consider that unpatriotic America. Where a government allows a business in America to outsource American jobs based on a profit scheme they call competition. Where a government for the people allows our trade with other nations to be unbalanced causing the loss of American manufacturing jobs creating more poverty waged jobs. Wouldn’t this be considered unpatriotic? The wastefully spending on projects that benefit lobbyist and firms while American families live in homeless shelters, eat at soup kitchens in every state in this nation. Teachers who teach America’s next generation of leaders making less pay with no incentives while Washington grants billion dollar no bid contracts to companies that overcharge, under perform and violate government law. Maybe that’s unpatriotic? The fact that we elect officials to represent us that for see a vision of a better America only to get caught up in gridlock and back room deals or there own personal well being. Maybe this could be called unpatriotic? A fair and balanced healthcare system instead of an industry promoting healthy living and preventive measures instead of prescribing drugs that don’t cure but only mask disease. A healthcare system that saves lives for a noble one instead of a monetary one. That’s patriotic.
