The War Machine

A former member of the Bush Administration Scott McClellan just released a small glimpse into the shady dealings that this administration has been known for. He described the propaganda and spin that the White House used to make their case for a war in Iraq. I remember looking back at the daily news cycles before the war only to see the news which did an injustice to the American people by allowing different so called national security advisor and Bush cast members to spread fictitious rumors about WMD’s and the threat Iraq posed to the American people. They made such arguments to link Saddam with 9/11 terrorists all which came about to be false. Mr. McClellan most likely came out with this book to free his soul. Now he will have to deal with all the GOP spinners calling him a disgruntled employee. Sometimes the truth hurts and lies hurt much worst look at Iraq. How can the American people allow a president to straight up lie and get away with it for so many years? Just because he is the president does not mean he lacks accountability. By far George W. Bush is the worst president ever elected to office.
If anything he sure makes a good puppet for those who are well connected and business that received no bid contracts. The sad part of this story is the lost lives over 4,000 beautiful American people sent to die in a war that never should have been waged. Who else is there to blame? Congress, at a time when so many people doubted the lies spewed by this administration congress basically rolled over and gave approval without fully vetting the war machine. I personally call this administration a traitor to this country for lying and changing the context of constitution to how they see fit. There’s a difference between going to war based on facts and going to war based on cherry picked intelligence. The fact is their case for war was without merit. I’m sure future historians will look back and say the same. The case I’m making is not based on a certain political party or dislike for our government but reality for those chosen heroes who lost there life. For the families who lost a dad, mom, uncle, aunt, cousin, sister, brother or friend. These soldiers fight to protect our freedoms and no blame can be directed to there effort. But blame can be directed to this Administration for their acts of treason.
